Butterfly Beauty
Hi All! Just popped in to share another one of the cards I created for Manor House. I really loved all the layers on this one. The flowers were some of Manor House's beauties and I colored them with spray mist.

Manor House Guest Designer Spot
I was blessed for Manor House Creations to ask me to do be a guest designer for them. If you're not familiar with Manor House's Creations, you need to get to know them. They have some lovely flowers, kits, trims and all types of fun embellishments.
On this card I covered the flowers with some of the pearl smooch. It gave them an iridescent look that I just loved.
Of course, you know I had to throw in some pearls. You expect it don't you, LOL. Be sure to stop back by Wednesday where I'll highlight some more of my creations I did for Manor House.

Simple but Elegant
This card looks so intricate with all the details of the dies, but honestly it's a rather simple card. Stacking the doily die on top of the frame with some foam tape really makes a statement but it's only two dies. The flowers are so beautiful but they are simply several of the Stacker Flower 4's layer together with the top layer manipulated to curl upwards. I love pearls so I thought between the center of the flowers, the edge of the card and the center piece highlight I had the elegant covered. This detailed card was created using only four dies, how simple is that. Just think everyone will think this card took you hours to do, but it will be our simple little secret.

Happy Mother's Day
I've been so blessed to have the best mother in the world. I hope that when my children are grown that they think I'm even half the Mom that my mother is, she is so wonderful. I'm sure you feel the same way about your mother. Have you a some time to create your mother that special card for Sunday? The good news is you still have the weekend to get one created and if you're using your Cheery Lynn Dies it will go by in no time.
The wonderful paper collection that I used for this card is the latest and greatest from KaiserCraft, Porcelain Rose. Isn't it just yummy? I love it.
Here is a complete list of all the dies used on this project
Remember Cheery Lynn's weekly challenge, this week it's lots of layers and you have till Sunday evening to get in your entry. CLICK HERE to have join the fun.

Card of a Different Shape
I had some fun this week just playing with different shaped cards. Bending, folding, snipping here and there and this is the creation I came up with. I used several of the Mega Doily Dies for my base and then added to. Now the trick is going to be finding an envelope that would work, LOL. May just have to be one of those you hand deliver.
Here is a complete list of dies used for this project:

Poppies are Always My Favorite
If you read my blog you'll know I've said in the past Poppies are my favorite flower. I love them. KasierCraft came out with their current collection Remember Me and I of course fell in love because it's poppies galore.
This is a simple card I created with Remember Me. Kasier's Collectables make layering and creating a detailed card so simple.
I'll see you all on Friday with a new post for Cheery Lynn...so until then happy crafting.

KaiserCrafts Standing Bird/Album
This is a beyond the page project I created for KasierCraft's design team. I used the standing bird but wanted it to be more than just the bird, so I added a mini book onto the front. The collection that was used was "Elegance" and it's such a wonderful range. I think you can tell from this piece all the variety it offers.

Recycled Flowers
My sister Gini and I love to hit the thrift doors and see what type of treasures we can find. There is always something that can be altered or reused. Believe it or not, these flowers/leaves were created using an antique dictionary. So love everything about them.
Just a bit of Glimmer Mist, ink and of course Cheery Lynn Dies and you too can make these super chic flowers.
Here are all the dies I used on this card
Have a great weekend.

Altered Mixed Media Necklace for KaiserCraft
Altered mixed media art is hot, so I thought I would put my spin on one of my KaiserCraft projects and create a necklace. I made it from the current Hop Scotch collection. All the charms were cut from paper, inked. I then put a colored rivet in each and layered with a glue called Liquid Glass. This is a product that is offered by Close To My Heart but you could use something similar like Glossy Accents. I let them dry overnight and then attached the jump rings, chain and toggle clasp.
I've worn this necklace once but you would not believe the comments I've received on it. So much fun, so light to wear and really a show stopper.

Love
I have been so blessed through my life to have my parents show me what love is. Love between a husband and a wife, love between a parent and child, and love between man and God. They have embraced love and have been such a wonderful example to my sister, my children and myself. This is a layout I created for KasierCraft that states simply LOVE but to me, that titles hold so much meaning.
The collection is called " Remember Me " and who wouldn't want it? The rich colors and elegant poppies are so wonderful to work with.
I hope you have a wonderful week and I hope you are able to share some love with someone.
