Sympathy Card with Graphic 45 and Botanical Tea

This collection (Graphic 45 Botancial Garden)  is so beautiful with all the birds, butterflies and flowers. I had to make a sympathy
card for a friend of mine and I couldn’t think of a better collection to use. It’s so soft and uplifting
in and of itself I just knew she would love it. I used one of the Susan’s Garden’s Dies from Sizzix to
create the Yarrow flower on the front and it really makes the card jump to life, along with the fussy
cut butterflies that are ready to flitter off the front.

Be sure to head over to Graphic 45's blog today and see what my teamie Annette has created for you too...her work is always stunning.

and here's the interior of the card

Heard Your Gears were Stripped with Heartfelt Creations

My background is in jewelry design so one of the things I love the most about this collection is the die to create chain links...OMWord.  Each of the links we covered with pewter embossing powder.  Where ever there was a cut to link them together I made sure the embossing powder covered it so when heated it welded the cut.

Please be sure to go to Heartfelt Creations blog and see other creations from the rest of the design team along with supply list and complete directions for each project.  It's a great source of inspiration.

BEWARE...With Graphic 45 and An Eerie Tale

I love Halloween, honestly it's one of my favorite holidays and I'm not sure why.  I love the Eerie side, not the gore and blood and such just the vintage creepy.  Graphic 45's Eerie Tale is just that.  I love all the layers of this card and all the small details, look in any nook or cranky and you'll find another little aspect.

All Geared Up and Really Reasonable Ribbon

I'm loving working with the latest collection from Heartfelt Creations...All Geared Up.  It's so unique and fun.  I can' think of a more masculine card than a bouquet of nuts and bolts, LOL.  Of course I had to add some gear flowers for a bit of feminine touch.

We paired with Really Reasonable Ribbon last week for a perfect  mix and I thought the twine would blend beautifully.  Remember to hop over to Heartfelt Creations main blog and see directions and various other projects from the rest of the design team

Jewelry Made Easy with Graphic 45

I love the era of the big bands, flapper dresses and the bold style of art deco.  So when I saw the Couture Collection I knew I had to turn it into some type of wearable art.  I created this elegant and fun pin that just screams to be worn on the lapel of a jacket and I’ll show you how to make your own pin…using Couture Collection or any Graphic 45 paper of your choice.  In fact the pins are really simple and fun you could make several to hand out for gifts.

Be sure to check out my how to tutorial below and you'll be able to make your own pin(s) in no time!!!!

Create your own background

I love this tag...I created the whole background using stencils, ink and embossing powders.  I think it's just stunning.  The stencil was from Hampton Art collection that come with stamps and stencil in a package...super cool.

I hope you have a great weekend and get lots of craftiness done and I'll see you Monday.

A Place Called Home with Heartfelt Creations

Happy October....today is the final day of Heartfelt Creations Classic Sunflower Collection and I'm sorry to see this month's feature go.  I've loved every project with the Classic Sunflower because they are all simply beautiful.  Today's card is one that really highlights the paper collection.  I was able to create this lovely card with fussy cutting and stamping a sentiment.  It just goes to show you how versatile the collection is and though I would want it all you can create the look without some of the flower stamps and dies.
