I can't believe it but the holiday season is here...WOW.  Where did 2015 go?  This beauty of a card was created with Crafter's Companion goodies and I love the sparkle and bling of it.

It was a Pampered Weekend with Crafters Companion

After a long holiday weekend this is exactly how I feel...pampered.  I'm sure I won't be feeling that way in the morning when the work week begins again and I'm up at the crack of dawn to take my little boy to school...but for now.

I created this card using the Spectrum Noir new sparkle markers and OMGOSH...they are wonderful.  I had so much fun coloring with them.   I had colored the base with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and then colored over selected portions with the sparkle markers.  The only thing I need to get down is the photography of the sparkle so you can see it better from home.

Here's a list of all the Crafter's Companion goodies I used to create the circle easel card.

It's a box, no it's a card, no it's a box

Today's project is one I created for Graphic 45 and it's a card/ box.  This is perfect for the holidays because it could hold a little gift, chocolates ...something special inside.
I used the Deluxe Collectors Edition of Steampunk Debutante and this is one of those beloved collections that you always want to get your hands on.
Be sure to stop by G45's blog today as Maggie and Katie have some other really beautiful projects to see.

A Bow Can Bring It All Together

If you ever read my blog, you'll know I love Fall.....everything about it.  I love the colors, the crisp feel of the air and the bounty of harvest and thankfulness.  What better way represent the season of fall than a easy wall/door d├ęcor made with a bundle of dried corn and some beautiful rustic ribbon to pull it all together.  I love the way it looks.  The ribbon has wired edges so it's so simple to create a stunning bow.  Be sure to pick your ribbon up today at Ribbon Resource.
Also for a limited time with any order from Ribbon Resource you'll get a free roll of Christmas code needed.  Now that's something to be thankful for.

Step Into a Beautiful Collection with Heartfelt Creations

This Heartfelt Creations collection is just stunning and really has an appropriate title...All Glammed Up.  It really is glammed up.  One of the things I love about it is with the decorative shoes, corners and borders you can have a very intricate project with adding only a few flowers.  So lovely.

Now I have to give you a bit of a tease before I sure to tune in to Heartfelt Creations on Black Friday...there is so much going on.  There is a new release that you are going to love, love and I mean love.  Emma Lou is hosting a live video feed and who knows what fun will happen then.  So be sure to check it out all from the comfort of your long lines I promise.

Thankful with Crafter's Companion

This month is one that reminds us of all the things to be thankful for, what are you thankful for?  As hard as this year has been I have so many things to be thankful family, health, the area I live in, my job, and all the wonderful companies/teams I have the honor to work with in the scrapbooking/cardmaking industry.

This month Crafter's Companion is celebrating thankfulness with a month long full of thankful creations.  This is one I created and I hope you like it.  You can find a list below of all the Crafter's Companion goodies I used.

Please do leave a comment as I would love to know what you are thankful for.

Apple of my Eye with Ribbon Resource

Fall is my favorite season. I love the colors, the smell in the air and the hearty foods. One of the things that I love to do is make homemade apple sauce. Then when winter comes around we can curl up by the fire and find comfort in some fall goodness.
I’d thought I would share my favorite apple sauce recipe with you and then you too, can top if off with some beautiful holiday ribbon on top and around the front, add in a little bauble and you’ll have gifts galore for the giving season.
    • 8 cups sliced & cored apples
    • 1/2 cup brown sugar
    • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
    • 2 tablespoons water
    • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
    • Combine and place all ingredients slow cooker.
    • Cook on high for 4-5 hours, stirring occasionally.
    • Once apples are soft, and if you’ve left the skin on, blend in the blender for a smooth finish.
    *Makes 2-3 cups
